Format Employee Names for Printing W2's
The Printing of Government Form W2 at the end of the year requires a specific order for First and Last Names. This routine allows you to sequence your Employee names in the proper order for the W2's.
Select Payroll - Update W2 Name
You must update your W2 name prior to printing the W2 forms. You will be asked, "Are Employees names entered First Name first?" If you answer "Yes" then in your Employee file under 'W2 First Name' it will put your employee's first name there. If you answer "No" and you entered your employees by their last name in the Employee file then on there W2 it will put there last name first.
